Affiliate Marketing the Business Anyone Can Do

Author: Joe Booth

You know being a Affiliate Marketer isn`t that hard you don`t have to be a college graduate.I haven't been doing this for very long but I read a lot of the forums and there is a lot of confusion let me see if I can explain .Its all about getting Traffic to your site linking your

site to other peoples sites Bloging wrighting Articles many other things.Away to make quick money is with Google Adword your Adsense. But with Adsense you have to have Traffic going to your site and a easy and a lazy way to get traffic is Adminder. All you do is pay for the amount

of traffic you want where it be 10,000 50,000 100,000 there you got your traffic.Another question I read is Bloging a good idea yes it is. It gets you ranked in the search engines before your homepage gets ranked that is using Google Blogger. It all so gets you a lot of traffic

flow threw your site and it is a way to Post your link to your website and tell people about all that is on your site .Advertising is all so very important using ezines and using forums putting a Ad in the News Paper spreading the word about your business word of mouth emailing no

spamming. You can put your Logo and URL on a Coffiee cup or T-shirt that is a great form of Advertising and pass the T-shirts out to you Friends and Family. Here is a URL where you can get Mugs and T-shirts with designs on them http://www.cafepress.com.

Another form of Advertising is a Co-op what a Co-op does it Advertises you in Newspapaers Magazines, All so Payper click and Banner Ads. They wright and distribute Articles over the internet. But going back to Forums you can all so learn a lot form some well seasoned marketers that have been around for years. They will be more than happy to help

I have been in this Business for 5 months and I have learned All kinds of things since I have started I didn`t think my Brain could hold that much info so don`t give up hope because It really is not that hard at all like my mentor told me its Not Rocket science it is soooooo easy anyone can learn.

As far as wrighting Articles all you have to do is pick a Subject that you want to wright about and do research on It so you have an idea how you want to wright about it. Or you can have them ghost writhen for you there are A lot of writers out there for hire that can rite for you. And it doesn`t cost that much either to have one written

For you.I just read a book on Article Marketing it`s Author is Janice Wilson it is the best Article Marketing Book I have ever reid you can find it at www.empowerism.com. Plus wrighting Articles getting you lots of traffic to your Site like I stated earlier in the Article.Bigest plus am

That all that traffic you get is free but there are a fue Article submission sites that charge but not many.

Regards

Joe Booth

Big Opportunities in Online Video

Author: Joseph Pratt

Don't look now, but there are 1,300+ Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) channels available free of charge on the Internet. And to think that back in the 1980s some thought cable TV was content overload, with its forty some-odd channels (plus cursing). But IPTV isn't merely a vast choice of content broadcast online; its offerings are richly featured with user options for viewers and the content is largely tailored by a demand as finite as the niche-friendly Internet allows. A confluence of factors, mostly due to Internet based technology, has created tempting opportunities for online advertisers. This bodes well for all involved in the interactive niche, from advertising agencies like ICMediaDirect.com to search marketers of all sizes and even freelance professionals. Let's take a closer look.
The convergence that IPTV represents, where television meets the PC, owes much to the explosion of broadband capability that's well on its way to becoming the standard, as opposed to a luxury. Broadband connection should simply be thought of as a greater performance capability between your computer and the Internet, a wider spigot for information flow, if you will. And through this spigot we receive data in the form of Internet Protocol packets that make up content for media consumption. Improvements in software and computers allow us to watch hi-resolution video along with stereo quality sound on our home computers.
The promise in this capability is not lost on media companies and advertisers. Cognizant that online advertising topped .5 billion in 2005, up about billion from the previous year, IPTV is being eyed like candy as the centerpiece for the telecom dream of delivering the "triple play" to consumers.
This ballyhooed triple play is the convergence of voice, data, and video – telecoms are best poised to capture this prized market, through partnerships from the big Internet players of course. Many of the deals we see today, most recently Google's agreement to syndicate and distribute Viacom offerings to third-party web properties, will be ramped-up until the medium firmly establishes itself. Indeed, the advertisers like Google will get good practice at delivering web-based video ads through content like MTV or VH-1 that allow a decent degree of targeting with full measurability on the behalf of the advertiser.
And the plans are ambitious with good reason. According to the Multimedia Research Group IPTV subscribers currently number somewhere shy of 4 million today while some 36.9 million is projected by 2009. This number may sound ambitious, but I think it isn't. Just look at YouTube's runaway success. In less than the course of one year this video on demand website went from scratch to the number 16 most trafficked website, according to Alexa.com. Friends have forwarded most of us YouTube videos; I consider it is the ultimate viral platform yet witnessed via the Internet. And speaking of YouTube, I also believe that because it is a platform, a service that's enabled by recent improvement in broadband coverage and video capabilities of hand-helds and PCs, it will be hard-pressed to maintain its stunning dominance in the field. The methodology is simple enough that it will be duplicated. YouTube will likely pair with a bigger fish (Yahoo, perhaps) and become a footnote in the larger convergent trend that brings this triple play to life.
Just as the competitive marathon runner knows no finish line, neither does this field. The elusive "quad" play, that's voice, data, video with mobility is talked about now, too. I guess I'm some kind of pawn, since I use a Cingular 8125 pocket PC. I walked into a Cingular store to see what I could do about securing a cheaper plan since my carryover minutes are now numbering in the thousands. I don't really know what happened, but I walked out with this computer/video camera/phone/etc. that fits in my pocket. At least we know salesmanship still counts.
The actions of media companies today are done with a surety that advertising money will follow. Just this week Comcast cable, bolstered by a recently expanded online-sales team, announced it will be opening its Comcast.net portal to all customers. Comcast will recruit customers to its high-speed-data transmission access and deliver them ad supported content with online video entertainment being paramount. This cable giant is not merely expanding its online presence, but potentially positioning itself to primarily becoming an interactive content provider - that's the scope of convergence. Ad budgets are making online allowances to fill the inventories for moves like Comcast's and you can be sure that this convergent trend will continue.

7 Steps for Creating a Business or Advertising Slogan

Author: Geeta

A slogan is a catchy one or two line phrase associated with a product, campaign or business. These are often developed by big-name advertising agencies as part of an advertising or branding campaign. But big-name agencies come with big price tags -- beyond the reach of many small businesses. If you are in this situation, don't despair. With some creativity and persistence, you can develop your own slogan.

(1) Decide what you want your slogan to communicate.

If you have a positioning statement and/or unique selling proposition, write them down and keep them close at hand. Your slogan should reinforce them. Ask yourself these questions.

• - Who are your customers?

• - What benefits do you give your customers?

• - What feelings do you want to evoke in your customers?

• - What action are you trying to generate from your customers?

• - How are you different from your competition?

Try to get one or more of these across in your slogan.

(2) Begin brainstorming preparation.

Gather slogans from other companies and brands. Look in other categories besides your own and try to find brand and company slogans from both large and small companies.

As you find slogans, write them on index cards or individual slips of paper. You will be mixing, matching, and pairing them with unrelated items as you brainstorm your own slogan. Pay attention to the words used, how they are put together, and which of the above questions they address. By doing this, you are more likely to come up with your own unique angle.

NOTE: You are looking at others' slogans only to spark ideas, not copy them. You must come up with your own, original slogan.

To find slogans, look around. Anywhere you find advertisements, packaging, or logos you will find slogans. Look in cupboards, around desks, in magazines, on TV/radio commercials, in print advertisements, and on Web sites. For example:

Presidential Campaign Slogans

The 2008 presidential election campaigns are beginning to kick in. Some early slogans associated with presidential campaigns include:

• - MoveOn: "Democracy in Action"

• - ICanBePresident.com: "Women for Hillary" (Clinton)

• - Rudy Giuliani: "Rudy"

• - Barak Obama: "Obama '08"

Not a lot of creativity as of April 2007, but each conveys a desired action or goal.

Restaurant Slogans

Restaurant slogans tend to be a bit more creative and subtle. Often accompanied by a lively tune in commercials, these slogans are intended to get the targeted consumer up, out the door, and into the restaurant or drive-thru (sometimes in terms only the target market would find less than bizarre):

• - Burger King: "Wake up with the King."

• - Taco Bell : "Good to Go," "Think Outside the Bun," "Run for the Border,"

• (Example of a slogan that flopped: In the late '80's, when I was a Taco Bell store manager, Taco Bell had a short-lived, one-word slogan: "Hello". We had to answer the restaurant telephone with "Hello, Taco Bell." Uhhhmmmm. Whatever.)

• - McDonald's: "You deserve a break today."

Famous Ad Slogans

Many classic slogans also convey a critical benefit or unique feature:

• - Alka Selzer: "Plop plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is.

• - Rice Krispies cereal: "Snap, Crackle, Pop!"

• - Johnson's Baby Shampoo: "No more tears."

• - M&M's: "Melts in your mouth, not in your hands."

• - Milk: "Milk. It does a body good."

• - McDonald's Big Mac: "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun."

(3) Find your competitors' slogans.

Look at them and strive to be better and different.

(4) Gather together books to help you come up with different ways to phrase similar ideas.

Some of my favorites: "Word Menu," "Flop Dictionary," "The Describer's Dictionary" and "Twenty-First Century Synonym and Antonym Finder".

(5) Conduct a brainstorming session.

This works best if you can get a small group together, but can also be done solo. Set up a place with a lot of writing space - use dry erase boards, easels with big paper pads, note cards, etc.

Go through your props. Look up words or concepts in the books. Rearrange your various props so you can look at them in different ways. Write down *everything* that comes to mind and all the new ideas each phrase sparks. They do not have to make sense. At this point, you want a large number of ideas.

(6) Consolidate your list.

After brainstorming, go through all of your ideas. Pull out those few you think have the best potential. Try to reduce longer slogans to fewer words.

(7) Choose the one best slogan.

You should be left with a short list of possibilities. To pick the single best slogan, get others' opinions. If you have some funds budgeted for slogan development, work with a market research firm to test the slogans with your customers.

You can also conduct informal research. Set up a free or professional survey and encourage people to take the survey through your Website. If you have direct contact with customers, ask them what they think. Give them an incentive to help you, such as a discount or small freebie.

When you are done, you will have a slogan that will help your business thrive.

How to Use Content Article Lead Generation to Earn Residual Income

Author: James Lowe

To have a steady income from your business you need to know how to generate highly targeted leads. Leads are the heart blood of residual income for your inter net business.

This article represents many thousands of dollars from my business experience. Read it carefully and learn from my experience and mistakes.

Good sales are joined to the hip of your business income in increasing your business profits. Anyone who does not focus on targeted lead generation will soon find their residual income dries up real fast.

Most online entrepreneurs end up quitting because they do not understand exactly how to generate leads. Success or failure is frequently a fine line, as little as one word or even one letter that draws interested leads to respond and buy.

A targeted lead is the name and information for someone who is interested in your product as a possible customer or team member. With target marketing there are many different types of leads.

The cream of the crop leads are qualified and know why they are seeking you out. Qualified leads are the names of people who have raised their hand with an interest in your business or product.

They have either requested information when seeing your content article on an article directory web site, independently run ad agencies helping you advertise or other on line or off line means of advertising. They are interested in buying your product, enlisting in your cause,or joining you in business.

These leads are your diamonds in the rough because they have the most targeted qualification. These people are the highest probability leads to buy or sign up with you.

Some leads will drive you nuts with intensive indecisiveness and just want someone to rant to. Let these time wasters go real quick. You will learn to recognize them fast, I promise you.

It is okay if someone has a lot of questions. These leads are sincere and very interested and are not interested in wasting your time or theirs and are being careful how they spend their money.

Another important aspect about leads is they must be current. Old leads soon forget they responded to an ad and will get very angry with you. Old leads will be cheap. This is like taking a medicine that is cheap and may or may not be the right thing for you. Let it go.

Few things are worse than buying leads and finding out they are not current. Old leads have incorrect contact information that results in wasted time and money.

Leads are generated in different ways. Offline leads can come from telemarketing, talking to people and advertising. If you like pain and angry people giving you a peace of their mind all day, this is a way to get leads. Well, maybe not.

Online leads come from advertising, email capturing and writing free content articles for article directories and other web sites. There are other ways to get leads though these are some of the more popular at this time.

You can buy leads. Buying leads is very risky. Almost all of my experience with this has resulted in no hungry leads. They are a bad risk. Many sources are rip offs.

Frequently, bought leads are not current. Sales men and women will tell you anything to get you to buy. If you do not believe me now you will find this out with experience. One time I bought 40 million leads for forty dollars. Not one sale from this. Get the picture now?

Some other methods are better because they are current, qualified leads. Notice the word method from the previous sentence. Make the lead chase you is absolutely the best way to get them. Be so honest with leads that it hurts and you are afraid to lose the sale.

These other methods provide the best opportunity to get quality leads. They simply bring you leads that are qualified. People are responding to the honestly presented business, they know what it is and they are ready to either buy or sign up. They are almost friends.

The cheapest way to get good leads is to pass out business cards with your business clearly stated on them. This is slow and definitely works. Cheap quality source for business cards are available to you online.

Probably the highest targeted leads come from those brought to you by content article lead generation to earn residual income. You blow your horn in your niche article about the advantages of your product in an intensely truthful way, giving all the good and bad.

You can write articles yourself or have professionals write them for you. They are cheap and can be changed, if you wish, before submitting them. This method takes longer to get leads but they will chase you if you follow the rules.

Content articles stay on the internet virtually forever. So, you will have a permanent, quality free ad once the article is submitted to publishers.

These leads are the highly targeted keys to making a good income. Targeted leads are the fuel to earning a top residual income. Am I harping on this enough so you are starting to believe me?

Press releases are very good for generating leads but cost more. If you are serious about your business have a pro do it for you. Have them submit them also for best results.

Good leads, who know exactly what you are up to, generate sales and sign ups to make a residual income. They will generate valuable word of mouth advertising for you. No advertising is better than satisfied customers, none. Got it?

I do guarantee you that good or bad leads will make or break your business. Entrepreneur business, or cause, owners need to understand what a lead good is and where to get, not find, them. Let them find you for best results.

Successful business owners take the time to generate targeted leads, who chase them, to be sure they are good. The next step is to take the leads, give them honest information, and turn them into steady residual income.

Holly Mann and the Rich Jerk

Author: Domingo Powers

In my skeptical search for the legitimate methods to Making Money Online and Internet Businesses, I stumbled across Holly Manns, Honest Riches. I had come across "The Rich Jerk" many times and when I first saw the page for her eBook, and saw "Thank You, Rich Jerk, I first thought, 'hmmm... they must be partners. Or maybe they're married, making a ton of money and they want me to believe I can too'.

Then I started reading and I will tell you what attracted me to this book. It wasn't just her picture; her age; her life experiences; all of which gave me the feeling of absolute sincerity. I liked that she was self-taught and self-motivated and self-respecting.

I also like the price of the eBook and I liked that she felt other eBooks are costing people too much money. (I spent hundreds in the first month; and that was while in my research stage). So, I bought the book; read it cover-to-cover, and I was so excited. I felt very encouraged and I knew I could do this thing called 'Affiliate Marketing. The next day, I got back into my research and set the book aside.

I bought another book... and another. The next thing I know, I am so wound up mentally that I don't know what I am supposed to be doing. I have to figure this out, and figure that out. How do I do this? How do I do that? Then there's Keywords and Ads and Articles and Blogs and Backlinks and PPC and Google and Newsletters and on and on and on... I spent hours and hours everyday going round and round in circles on the internet trying to figure these things out. Before I knew my mind was going in so many directions I couldn't think straight.

And then I spot it; there on my desk. The skinny little binder holding my Honest Riches eBook. Its then I remember the excitement I felt when I read it and how I knew I could do this thing. I got so caught up in the frenzy that I wasn't taking any action. So I went back to the beginning; back to the 'Breakthrough Money Making Secrets Revealed'. (I was sitting on the 'motherload' and still looking for a goldmine.)

I think most of us begin looking for ways to make money online because of our life circumstances and we just know in our hearts that something's gotta give. For me, I was out of a job, flat broke and out of options. I have to admit I was drawn to the hype that is out there. There's a lot of flash and color and promise. Have you ever seen so many red exclamation points? So, yes I was drawn, but am I really attracted?

If you are like me, you are attracted to the truth and you embrace humility. The truth is: Internet Businesses Make Money Online. There are a myriad of ways to do this that wont cost a small fortune to get going and many that don't cost a dime. This is what Holly Mann stresses in her eBook and I am on my way with Honest Riches.

Earn Extra Income Online With Google

Author: Antony Babington

Are you satisfied with your current job, or are you one of the growing numbers of people who want to work from home and are looking to earn extra income online?

We are always being told that money does not grow on trees and there is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme, but for those not looking for free money, a home based business is far more appealing than the drudge of your usual 9-5 job. I always find most jobs do not allow you to spend sufficient time with your family or friends, and little time for any hobbies.

Before you start looking for business opportunities and ways to make money, I would advice that you seek some advice from an expert marketer with a proven track record and also to read as widely as you can, as there are some excellent manuals around, which give step by step accounts of numerous ways to automate your income flow.

One company that can do a great deal to help you succeed in a part time home business is the Google Corporation who was first to develop search engine marketing and PageRank. In 2003 they added Google Blogger to their site, which offered a way to create online journals and soon afterwards came Google Adsense.

Adsense is an online advertising program that appraises text on a page and then creates related advertisements. This program has the potential to bring benefits to your website whether large or small so that you can earn extra income online and it was this made Google the branding of the year.

If you do not have your own website and know nothing about web design, but are interested in having your own internet business, so you can work at home, then an excellent way to make money is affiliate marketing on Google Adwords.

Adwords is a pay per click program that allows advertising on the Google search engine and their partner sites. In order to make money you create interesting text advertisements to encourage people to visit your affiliate website.

The reason it is necessary to pay for traffic is because it is extremely difficult to get free traffic on Google, you have to optimize and then submit the website, over and over again, but once you have signed up for Adwords your advertisement is placed in the search results within minutes.

This is an excellent way of marketing, however you have to be careful when choosing an affiliate program. Affiliate programs are a way to conduct a business and earn money by receiving a commission for each visitor or sale made because of your referral. One of the most popular networks is ClickBank as it allows you to promote and sell products in several networks at the same time. Another benefit is that all ClickBank products are digital products, which means there is no need to ship and handle, as the buyer receives an instant download.

Remember to seek all the information you can find on e marketing and setting up your business and you won’t fail to earn extra income online.

Passive Versus Active Digital Signage

Author: Ryan J Bell

Digital signage has come a long way over the past few years. The technology that drives the network has grown by huge leaps (and continues to do so). When new customers express an interest in developing a signage network, they often think of the flashiest uses possible. They want to entertain and engage their visitors with a barrage of interactive elements. But, there are several factors that need to be addressed when choosing between passive and active digital signage. Not every circumstance is best-suited for one or the other. Below, we'll explain situations in which passive signage may be appropriate. Then, we'll describe a few benefits offered by active signage.

When Passive Signage Is Appropriate

Many business owners are unimpressed by passive signage. The lack of interaction seems disappointing. But, there are many reasons why a business owner may want to deploy a passive network. First, some objectives are better served with passive screens. For example, a network of screens within a fast food restaurant may only need to convey information such as combo meals, individual foods items, and prices. Similarly, a playhouse or museum may only need to let patrons know about upcoming shows or exhibits. Active signage can easily obfuscate the main message.

Also, there are times in which a message must be communicated to a large number of people at once. An interactive system (which must be placed at eye level) would prevent this from happening.

Benefits Of Active Signage

Of course, active signage offers benefits that a passive network cannot match. First, the ability to engage the visitor can't be underestimated. It gets them involved and can be instrumental in motivating them to purchase something before leaving the store. Second, it can increase brand awareness by informing visitors about certain products as a result of their choices.

For example, a ladies shoe store might use active signage that takes the visitor through a short series of screens, asking them questions along the way. Questions such as "What kind of wardrobe will you wear with your shoes?" can appear on the left side of the screen while choices appear on the right. Such interactivity can lead to the signage suggesting certain types of shoes that are in the store's inventory.

Active signage content has another major advantage over passive signage: the ability to measure impact. Measuring the results of a passive system is limited. Beyond estimations about how many people saw the content, what time they saw it, and its affect on in-store sales, passive systems do not allow much flexibility. By contrast, active systems can use robust software to track any number of variables.

For example, the effectiveness of a signage deployment that offers a 15% discount on a certain item in exchange for the visitor's email address can be tracked. Then, results of that content's deployment can be measured to determine whether it was effective. Any number of customer interactions and impacts can be measured.

Active Or Passive?

Both types of signage have their uses in different situations. The type that your company deploys should depend upon its objective. That said, it is important to note that the cost to use an active system is much higher. The screens must be equipped for a touch interface. Also, the hardware that controls the interactive distribution of content must be more robust than the hardware used for a passive system. Finally, you will need to consider the expense and time involved with creating sophisticated interactive content.

The benefits of active digital signage are significant when the circumstances call for them. Review your project's goals to ensure that whichever type of system you choose, its functionality delivers the value you need.

MLM Opportunities – Advertising and Promotion

Author: Rory Singh

If you are building a Network Marketing or MLM opportunity right now, the blood of your business is marketing. You will have to learn how to become a savvy marketer. Being savvy means that you will have to learn how to drive tons of website traffic that turns into leads and sales and doing this in a way that keeps you in a profit position.

At first when a new marketer starts out, they do not get the greatest results. When you are learning, it isn't going to always be profitable. You will make mistakes and lose time and money. This is all part of the game. Your first 6 months to one year in business is going to be the toughest time for you. You will have that little annoying voice in the back of your head bombarding you with limiting thoughts. You will have to ignore that voice and press on towards your goals.

Most marketers quit or fail (failing is quitting) because they run out of money to fund their marketing methods. I believe that is just a poor excuse for quitting. If you truly have a vision, then nothing can get in your way. If you run out of money there are always many free methods to drive traffic to your websites and business opportunities.

Here are 5 methods for driving free traffic:

1: Article Marketing:

The article that you are reading right now is one of the greatest forms of free advertising. Your articles can stay online for years. If you are planning to use articles, make sure to give people some kind of value. Don't just write something just to get people to your website. Give them some value. Share something with your readers. Give and you shall receive.

2: Video Marketing:

If you are confident enough to do make educational videos that can benefit viewers with your expertise, then you are going to love video marketing. Make videos on topics that you are well versed in. You can always be creative and make videos on new things that you learn. Add some humour to spice things up. Submit your videos to Youtube and Viddler.

3: Blogs:

Blogging is great and the search engines love them. Blogs are great for people who do not know much about technical issues like setting up websites and Meta tags. They are pretty well turn key. Word Press and Blogger are two of the best. Make sure to up grade to a paid blog that will give allow you to have your own professional domain. The paid option only costs between 10 to 15 dollars per month. Hey, you have to spend on something. This is a business that you are trying to build.

4: Social Media:

Start building your social media sites like Face Book and Twitter. Keep adding friends that have the same interests like Networking. I strongly recommend that you keep two accounts for Face Book. Use one for business and one for personal friends. Some top marketers got their start this way.

5: Free Classifieds:

I strongly recommend you up grade your free ads to paid ads if you decide to use free classifieds they are very inexpensive and can move you to the front of the lines. The only traffic that free online ad sites get are people looking for a place to post a free ad. Most of the advertisers are other Networker's trying to build their businesses. These people can become customers if you present your opportunity to them in a certain way. Offer them a free e-book or some other free offer to get them to opt into your business website. Other Network Marketers are Opportunity ‘Buyers'. Opportunity seekers are ‘tire kickers'.

If you use the 5 free methods for driving traffic and remain consistent, you will get results. Most people who try free methods may only do it once or twice and sit back and wait. Submit at least one article or video per day and make sure to do it every day. If you can do more, then keep them coming. The more you do the more results you will get.
